The Power of One Voice: How To Use Your Voice Video Transcript
Most of you know the story of all that we’ve been through medically and that kind of thing. We were at a reunion for those that had survived serious illness; this beautiful lady walked up to me and said,
“I remember your voice”.
We had given the hospital permission to contact us if other parents were dealing with the same kinds of things we were dealing with. We didn’t mind talking to those parents because we had shared experiences. Years later at a reunion, this lady, I had never met in person, walked up to me and said,
“I remember your voice”.
Never underestimate the importance of one voice. Never underestimate the power of your voice, because individual voices are so incredibly powerful … and what happens when we put them all together.
The thing is to be devoted to using them for good.
That lady sent shivers up and down my spine. She and I cried, cried because during our journey, she understood what I was dealing with. And I understood, most importantly, what she was dealing with as well.
Use that powerful mechanism called your voice for tremendous things. They will come back to you twenty-fold in goodness.
