The first alarm goes off at my house at 6:15 am. I’d love to lie to you and say I greet the morning as I leap out of bed, but what I really do is cuss under my breath, wondering how I’m going to get through this day. I don’t want to get out of my warm bed. And I don’t want to get up now that I am finally asleep! Aargh!
But what is missed in all of that was being grateful. Do you?

What makes the difference is Intention.
I have to make up my mind before I go to sleep that I’m going to wake up and be grateful. Massive shift for me and can be for you, too!
We may not become the best me or the best you unless we intentionally intend to reframe how we approach things. I’ve seen huge changes in how we can live and how we can cope. I’ve witnessed how that changes our life for good. Put that nugget in your mind for now; place it in your back pocket to pull out when you need it. So tomorrow morning, tomorrow night, tomorrow noon … whenever it is, you gotta do what you gotta do. … and you are dreading it like getting teeth pulled. Pull out your intend-to -be grateful card, throwing it in the mix.
Why? Because, here at TheBestYou.Site, we could never settle for being merely survivors, but we intend to be grateful thrivers as well!
