This is Monica Ray here and today I’m talking about Vent City. I just blasted some rock music for you because I have somebody close to me that is a rocker. When this person who dealing with a lot of stress, the louder (excuse me rockers), and I don’t understand the lyrics, like I don’t for a lot of songs, it just gets this person going and helps their stress level come down.
Vent City. What ways do you get out those stressors in a helpful and positive way? Well, this person tells me blasting the rock music, helps the heart rate go down and the blood pressure go down, but for me, it’s the opposite.
You see, I’m a fusser and a screamer. I will go outside and let it rip and say all the things I need to say to the sky that helps me to come down and to calm down. So, for you, what is your vent city? What do you do to healthfully, not hurting you or anybody else, bring your stress level down?
There’s no right or wrong as long as it doesn’t hurting yourself or somebody else. Some things may in bad taste, but that’s an individual decision.
It’s important to put when you put these things in your big, word, repertoire, so when you deal with stressors, stressors, stressors, you have a positive way to bring it down. It’s so important. We talked about not getting mad about everything. Ok, what are you going to do with all that stress that you feel? Maybe, rock out, maybe?
